Where could I get meat to give all these people? For they weep before me, saying, ‘Give us meat, that we may eat.’
But Jesus said to them, “They don’t need to go away. Y’all must give them something to eat.”
“But that servant went out and found one of his fellow servants who owed him one hundred denarii. He grabbed him and took him by the throat, saying, ‘Pay me what you owe!’
You must send them away, so that they can go into the surrounding countryside and villages and buy themselves something to eat.”
He said to them, “How many loaves do y’all have? Go look!” When they found out, they said, “Five, and two fish.”
“A certain lender had two debtors. The one owed five hundred denarii, and the other fifty.
But he told them, “Y’all give them something to eat!” They said, “We only have five loaves and two fish, unless we go and buy food for all these people.”
