He said to them, “Y’all will indeed drink my cup, but to sit on my right or left is not mine to give. Rather, it is for those whom it has been prepared by my Father.”
“Then the King will tell those on his right, ‘Come, y’all who are blessed of my Father, inherit the empire prepared for y’all from the foundation of the world;
even as you gave him authority over all flesh, so he will give eternal life to all whom you have given him.
Father, I desire that those whom you have given me to be with me where I am, so that they might see my glory which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world.
He said to them, “It isn’t for y’all to know the times or periods the Father has set by his own authority.
Instead, they aspire toward a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for ʜᴇ has prepared a city for them.
