Every living thing was destroyed that was on the surface of the ground, including humans, livestock, creeping things, and birds of the sky. They were destroyed from the earth. Only Noah was left, and those who were with him in the ark.


Noah went into the ark with his sons, his wife, and his sons’ wives, because of the floodwaters.


My heart flutters. Horror has frightened me. The twilight that I desired has been turned into trembling for me.


Therefore disaster will come on you. You won’t know when it dawns. Mischief will fall on you. You won’t be able to put it away. Desolation will come on you suddenly, which you don’t understand.


For in the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.


Just as it was in the days of Noah, so it will be in the days of the Son of Humanity.


Likewise, it will be as it was in the days of Lot: People were eating and drinking, buying and selling, planting and building.


When he had brought him down, there they were, spread around over all the ground, eating, drinking, and dancing, because of all the great plunder that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.
