“Yes, and what are y’all to me, Tyre and Sidon, and all the regions of Philistia? Will y’all repay me? And if y’all repay me, I will swiftly and speedily return your repayment on y’all’s own head.


YHWH says: “For three transgressions of Tyre, yes, for four, I will not turn away its punishment; because they delivered up the whole community to Edom, and didn’t remember the brotherly covenant;


“I have only chosen y’all from all the families of the earth. Therefore I will punish y’all for all of y’all’s sins.”


Truly I tell y’all, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city.


“Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in y’all had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.


This is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, but humans loved the darkness rather than the light, for their deeds were evil.


Therefore you have no excuse, you humans who judge. For in judging another, you condemn yourself because you who judge practice the same things.


Won’t those who are physically uncircumcised, but fulfill the law, judge you, who with the written law and circumcision are a transgressor of the law?
