“Y’all must not say, ‘Conspiracy!’ every time these people say there is a conspiracy. Y’all must not fear what they fear or live in dread.


Hᴇ will be a sanctuary, but for both houses of Israel, ʜᴇ will be a stumbling stone and a rock that makes them fall. For the people of Jerusalem, ʜᴇ will be a trap and a snare.


The men of Gibeon sent to Joshua at the camp at Gilgal, saying, “Don’t abandon your servants! Come up to us quickly and save us! Help us; for all the kings of the Amorites that dwell in the hill country have gathered together against us.”


YHWH said to Joshua, “Don’t be afraid or discouraged. Take all the warriors with you, arise, and go up to Ai. See, I have given into your hand the king of Ai, with his people, his city, and his land.


So Joshua arose, with all the warriors to go up to Ai. Joshua chose thirty thousand men, the valiant warriors, and sent them out by night.
