But after I have been raised, I will go ahead of y’all into Galilee.”
So the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had designated.
Y’all go quickly and tell his disciples, ‘He has risen from the dead, and he is going ahead of y’all into Galilee. There y’all will see him.’ Listen, I have told y’all.”
After these things he appeared in another form to two of them as they were walking in the country.
Afterward, he appeared to the eleven themselves as they sat at the table. He rebuked them for their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they didn’t believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
But y’all must go and tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He goes before y’all into Galilee. There you* will see him, just as he told y’all.’”
This was now the third time that Jesus revealed himself to his disciples after he had risen from the dead.
After these things, Jesus went away to the other side of the sea of Galilee (also called the Sea of Tiberias).
Then some boats from Tiberias came near to the place where they had eaten the bread after the Lord had given thanks.
After his suffering, he presented himself to them alive with many convincing proofs. He appeared to them over a period of forty days, speaking about the Empire of God.
