Indeed, you have made my days mere hand widths. My lifetime is as nothing before you. Surely every human stands as a breath.” Selah.
Hᴇ remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes away, and doesn’t come again.
Remember how short my time is, for what vanity you have created all the children of men!
Y’all must stop trusting in humankind, whose breath is in their nostrils. Why should they be esteemed?

The end of all things is near. Therefore y’all are to be self-controlled and sober-minded for prayer.
The world is passing away with its desires, but the one who does God’s will remains forever.
