Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what YHWH spoke of, saying, ‘I will show myself holy to those who come near me, and before all the people I will be glorified.’” Aaron held his peace.


As for the man who does this, who awakes and answers, YHWH will cut him off from the tents of Jacob, though he presents an offering to YHWH Almighty.


“A disciple is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master.


“Woe to y’all, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Y’all keep shutting humans out of the Empire of Heaven. For y’all do not enter it, but neither to do allow others to enter.


When the Pharisees saw this, they said to his disciples, “Why does y’all’s teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners?”


So he called him and asked, ‘What is this that I hear about you? Give an accounting of your management, because you can no longer be manager.’


Don’t y’all judge, and y’all won’t be judged. Don’t y’all condemn, and y’all won’t be condemned. Y’all forgive, and y’all will be forgiven.


Jesus answered him, “You are the teacher of Israel, and yet you don’t understand these things?


Now in the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen the foster brother of Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.


God has placed in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, of helping, of administration, and various kinds of tongues.


For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive according to what was done in the body, whether good or bad.


So Christ gave some to be apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers


desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they are saying nor what they so strongly affirm.


For this, I was appointed a preacher and an apostle (I am telling the truth, not lying), a teacher of the ethnic groups in faith and truth.


For this gospel I was appointed as a herald, apostle, and teacher,


Y’all should trust your* leaders and submit to them, because they keep watch over y’all’s souls as those who will give account. Let them do this with joy and not with complaints, for that would not be beneficial for y’all.


Y’all must not be deceived, my beloved siblings.


Y’all pay attention, my beloved siblings, every human should be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to anger,


Out of the same mouth comes blessing and cursing. My siblings, things should not be this way.


not lording it over those entrusted to y’all, but being examples to the flock.
