How much more, when wicked men have slain a righteous person in his own house on his bed, should I not now require his blood from y’all’s hand, and rid the earth of y’all?”


Do therefore according to your wisdom, and don’t let his gray head go down to Sheol in peace.

Or if anyone strikes someone with a wooden object capable of killing in hand, and the person died, he is a murderer. The murderer must be put to death-death.

then the elders of his city are to send for him, and deliver him to the hand of the avenger of blood to die.
