God said, “This is the token of the covenant which I make between me and y’all and every living creature that is with y’all, for all subsequent generations:


When I bring a cloud over the earth, that the rainbow will be seen in the cloud,


As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of YHWH’s glory. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.


I saw another strong angel descending from heaven, clothed with a cloud, with a rainbow was on his head. His face was like the sun, and his feet like pillars of fire.


The one seated there resembled a jasper stone and a sardius in appearance. There was a rainbow around the throne that resembled an emerald in appearance.
