The two angels came to Sodom at evening. Lot sat in the gate of Sodom. Lot saw them and went up to meet them. He bowed with his face to the earth,

Now Joseph was the governor over the land. It was he who sold to all the people of the land. Joseph’s brothers came, and bowed themselves down to him with their faces to the earth.

“Honor your father and your mother, so that your days may be long in the ground which YHWH your God gives you.
Her children rise up and call her blessed. Her husband also praises her:
“‘Each one of y’all is to respect their mother father, and y’all are to keep my Sabbaths. I am YHWH y’all’s God.
“‘You are to rise up in the presence of the gray head and honor the face of the elderly. You are to fear your God. I am YHWH.
Children, y’all are to obey your* parents in the Lord, for this is right.
