The boys grew. Esau was a skillful hunter, a man of the field. Jacob was a quiet man, living in tents.


Lamech took two wives: the name of the first one was Adah, and the name of the second one was Zillah.


Again she gave birth to Cain’s brother Abel. Abel was a keeper of sheep, and Cain was a cultivator of the ground.


His brother’s name was Jubal, who was the father of all who handle the harp and pipe.


Y’all are of your* father the devil, and y’all want to do what your* father desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, and doesn’t stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks on his own, for he is a liar, and the father of lies.


By faith he dwelled in the land of promise as a stranger in a foreign country, dwelling in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs of the same promise.
