Then Abraham fell on his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, “Will a child be born to him who is one hundred years old? Will Sarah, who is ninety years old, give birth?”


God said, “No, but Sarah, your wife, will bear you a son. You are to name him Isaac. I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant for his offspring after him.


The thing was very grievous in Abraham’s sight on account of his son.


From now on, when you cultivate the ground, it won’t yield its strength to you. You will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth.”


Look! You have driven me out today from the surface of the ground. I will be hidden from your face, and I will be a fugitive and a wanderer in the earth. Whoever finds me will kill me.”


Many are asking, “Who will show us anything good?” Let the light of your face shine on us, YHWH.


As for me, you uphold me in my integrity, and set me in your presence forever.


But y’all’s iniquities have separated y’all from your* God, and y’all’s sins have hidden ʜɪꜱ face from y’all, so that ʜᴇ will not hear.


I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for their good and the good of their children after them.


For the promise is to y’all and y’all’s children, and to all who are far off, as many as the Lord our God will call to himself.”
