The Angel of YHWH said to her, “Return to your mistress, and submit yourself under her hands.”


The servant took ten of his master’s camels, and departed, having a variety of good things of his master’s with him. He arose, and went to Mesopotamia, to the city of Nahor.


YHWH said to Satan, “Very well, he is in your hand. Only spare his life.”


Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to kill Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and lived in the land of Midian, and he sat down by a well.


He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.


A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.


As a bird that wanders from her nest, so is a person who wanders from his home.


A servant can’t be corrected by words. Though he understands, yet he will not respond.


If the spirit of the ruler rises up against you, don’t leave your place; for gentleness lays great offenses to rest.


Zedekiah the king said, “Look, he is in y’all’s hand. The king can’t do anything to oppose y’all.”


Look, now we are in your hand. Do to us as it seems good and right to you to do.”


Husbands, in the same way, y’all should dwell together with y’all’s wives in an understanding way, showing them honor as a weaker vessel and as a fellow heir of the grace of life, so that nothing will hinder your prayers.
