Some Sadducees (who say there is no resurrection) came to him. They asked him, saying,
Some of the Sadducees, who deny that there is a resurrection, came and questioned him,
When he said this, an argument broke out between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the assembly was divided.
While Peter and John were speaking to the people, the priests, the captain of the temple guard, and the Sadducees came up to them.
Now if Christ has been preached as raised from the dead, how do some among y’all say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
