to all who are in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace and peace to y’all from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
Don’t seek revenge, beloved, but y’all must leave room for God’s wrath. For it is written, “Vengeance belongs to me, I will repay,” says the Lord.
For this reason I have sent Timothy to y’all, who is my beloved and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind y’all of my ways which are in Christ, even as I teach everywhere in every church.
Therefore, my beloved siblings whom I long for, my joy and crown, y’all stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.
to Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, and peace from God our Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.
You therefore, my child, be strengthened in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
To Titus, my true child according to a common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ our Savior.
while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ,
I have no greater joy than this: to hear that my children are walking in truth.
