And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, to receive the fruits of it,


But last of all, he sent unto them his own son, saying: they will fear my son.


And they caught him and thrust him out of the vineyard, and slew him.


¶ When the farmers saw him, they thought in themselves, saying: this is the heir, come let us kill him, that the inheritance may be ours.


but in these last days he hath spoken unto us by his son, whom he hath made heir of all things: by whom also he made the world.
