Either thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my father, and he shall give me more than xij. legions of angels?
And he prayed him instantly, that he would not send them away out of that region.
And they came out to Iesus, and they saw him that was vexed with the fiend and had the Legion sit, both clothed and in his right mind, and were afraid.
¶ Iesus asked him saying: what is thy name? And he said: Legion, because many devils were entered into him.
