¶ In that time Herod the tetrarcha heard of the fame of Iesu,


¶ And king Herode heard of him, for his name was spread abroad, And he said: Ihon Baptist is risen again from death, and therefore miracles are wrought in him.


¶ And he called the people unto him, with his disciples also, and said unto them. Whosoever will follow me, let him forsake himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.


¶ And he said unto them: Ye may very well say unto me this proverb. Physician, heal thyself. Whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do the same likewise in thine own country.


Give me also this power, that on whomsoever I lay hands, he may receive the holy ghost.
