Then a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came nye unto him, and beheld him, and had compassion on him,


And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host and said unto him: Take care of him, and whatsoever thou spendest above this, when I come again I will recompense thee.


And she brought forth her first begotten son. And wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger, because there was no room for them within, in the hostry.


¶ Therefore if thine enemy hunger feed him: if he thirst, give him drink. For in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head:


See that none recompense evil for evil unto any man: but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
