But and if the evil servant shall say in his heart: My master will defer his coming, and shall begin to smite the servants, and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken:


Abraham said unto him: Son remember, that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy pleasure, and contrariwise Lazarus pain. Now therefore is he comforted, and thou art punished.


These are not drunken, as ye wene: For it is yet but the third hour of the day:


For every man beginneth afore to eat his own supper. And one is hungry, and another is drunken.


and be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess: but be fulfilled with the spirit,


For they that sleep, sleep in the night: and they that be drunken, are drunken in the night.


with whom have committed fornication the kings of the earth, so that the inhabiters of the earth, are drunken with the wine of her fornication.


And I saw the wife drunken with the blood of saints, and with the blood of the witnesses of Iesu. And when I saw her: I wondered with great marvel.
