¶ When Simon Peter saw that, he fell down at Iesus' knees saying: Lord go from me, for I am a sinful man.


he it is that cometh after me, which was before me, whose shoe latchet I am not worthy to unloose.


After that poured he water into a basin, and began to wash his disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel, wherewith he was gird.


Iesus answered and said unto him: what I do thou wettest not now, thou shalt know here after.
