They said, some say that thou art Ihon baptist, some Helyas, some Ieremias, or one of the prophets.
And the people said: this is Iesus the prophet of Nazareth a city of Galilee.
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Helias to turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the unbelievers to the wisdom of the just men: to make the people ready for the Lord.
Then said they unto him: what art thou? That we may give an answer to them that sent us? what sayest thou of thy self?
And they asked him, and said unto him: why baptisest thou then, if thou be not Christ, nor Helias, neither a prophet?
Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Iesus did, said: This is of a truth the same prophet which shall come into the world.
Many of the people, when they heard this saying said: This is, no doubt, a prophet.
