They said unto him: Cesar's. Then said he unto them: Give therefore to Cesar, that which is cesar's: and give unto god, that which is goddes.


By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye shall have love one to another.


Be kind one to another, with brotherly love. In giving honour go one before another.


For they are goddes ministers, serving for the same purpose. ¶ Give to every man therefore his duetie: Tribute to whom tribute belongeth: Custom to whom custom is due: fear to whom fear belongeth: Honour to whom honour pertaineth.


¶ Seeing that we have such promises dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, and grow up to full holiness in the fear of God.


submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.


that nothing be done thorow strife or vain glory, but in meekness of mind. Let every person think every other man better than himself,


¶ Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God, and his doctrine be not evil spoken of.


¶ Let brotherly love continue.


¶ And for as much as ye have purified your souls thorow the spirit, in obeying the truth for to love brotherly without feigning, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:


¶ Submit yourselves unto all manner ordinance of man for the Lord's sake, whether it be unto the King as unto the chief head: other unto rulers,


¶ Likewise ye younger submit your selves unto the elder. Submit yourselves every man, one to another. Knit yourselves together in lowliness of mind. For God resisteth the proud and giveth grace to the humble.
