He answered and said unto them: He that hath ij. coats, let him part with him that hath none: And he that hath meat, let him do likewise.


Ye know the liberality of our Lord Iesus Christ, which though he were rich, yet for your sakes became poor: that ye thorow his poverty might be made rich.


To do good, and to distribute forget not, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.


If a brother or a sister be naked or destitute of daily food,


and one of you say unto them: Depart in peace, God send you warmness and food: notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body: what helpeth it them?


If a man say, I love God, and yet hate his brother, he is a liar. How can he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, love God whom he hath not seen?


¶ Whosoever believeth that Iesus is Christ, is born of God. And every one that loveth him which begat, loveth him also which was begotten of him.
