Some of them that stood there hearing it, said, He calleth Elijah.

Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

And some of the bystanders, when they heard it, said, This Man is calling for Elijah!

And some of them that stood there, when they heard it, said, This man calleth Elijah.

After hearing him, some standing there said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

Then certain ones who were standing and listening there said, "This man calls upon Elijah."

And some that stood there and heard, said: This man calleth Elias.

And if ye are willing to receive him, this is Elijah, who was to come.

And about the ninth hour, Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama-sabachthani? That is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?

And immediately one of them ran, and taking a sponge filled it with vinegar, and put it on a cane, and gave him to drink.
