Then his lord calling him, said to him, Thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou intreatedst me.


Verily I say to you, he will make him ruler over all his goods.


And shall begin to smite his fellow-servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken:


His lord answering said to him, Thou wicked and slothful servant, thou knewest that I reap where I sowed not, and gather whence I had not scattered?


For from within, out of the heart of man proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,


But if that servant say in his heart, My Lord delayeth his coming, and shall begin to beat the men servants and maidens, and to eat, and drink, and be drunken:


And he saith to him, Out of thy own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping what I did not sow.


And while they were at supper (the devil having now put it into the heart of Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon,


But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart, to lie to the Holy Ghost?


Repent therefore of this thy wickedness, and pray God, if perhaps the thought of thy heart may be forgiven thee.
