Yet that we may not offend them, go to the sea, and cast an hook, and take the fish that first cometh up. And when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money. That take and give them for me and thee.


See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in heaven their angels continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.


But whoso shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a milstone were hanged about his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.


And falling to the earth, he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?


Let us therefore no longer judge one another; but judge this rather, not to lay a stumbling block, or a scandal before a brother.


But as it is written, They to whom he was not spoken of shall see; and they that have not heard, shall understand.


Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them who cause divisions and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned, and avoid them.


Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed, But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God,


That ye may try the things that are excellent, that ye may be sincere and without offence unto the day of Christ,


I counsel therefore the younger women to marry, bear children, guide the family, give no occasion of reproach to the adversary.


And many will follow their pernicious ways, by reason of whom the way of truth will be evil spoken of.
