And Jesus seeing their thoughts said, Why think ye evil in your hearts?


And Jesus knowing it saith to them, Why reason ye, because ye have no bread? Perceive ye not yet, neither consider? Have ye your heart yet hardened?


And he said to them, Why are ye troubled? and why do reasonings arise in your hearts?


And the scribes and the Pharisees reasoned, saying, Who is this that speaketh blasphemies?


Which is easier? To say, Thy sins are forgiven thee? Or to say, Rise up and walk?


But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thy heart, to lie to the Holy Ghost?


For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder both of the soul and spirit, both of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.


And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know, that I am he who searcheth the reins and hearts; and I will give you, every man, according to your works.
