Then released he Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.


And Pilate, willing to satisfy the people, released Barabbas to them, and having scourged Jesus, delivered him to be crucified.


And they accused him saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Cesar, saying, that he himself is Christ a king.


And Pilate gave sentence, that what they desired should be done.


And as they led him away, they laid hold on one Simon a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.


But they were the more violent saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching through all Judea, beginning from Galilee, to this place.


Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.


Then delivered he him to them, to be crucified.


But ye renounced the holy one and the just, and desired a murderer to be granted you.
