And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached to all the world, for a testimony to all nations: and then shall the end come.


Ior as the lightning that lightneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth to the other part under heaven, so shall also the Son of man be in his day.


And behold there was a man in Jerusalem whose name was Simeon, and this man was just and religious, waiting for the Consolation of Israel: and the Holy Ghost was upon him.


And one of them, whose name was Cleopas, answering said to him, Dost thou alone even sojourn at Jerusalem, and hast not known the things, which are come to pass there in these days?


Now among those who came up to worship at the feast, there were certain Greeks.


A devout man, and fearing God with all his house, who gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.


And when the angel who spake to him was departed, he called two of his houshold-servants, and a devout soldier, of them that waited on him continually.


But the Jews stirred up the devout, honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised a persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.


And when the day of Pentecost was come, they were all with one accord in one place.
