Ye are of your father the devil, and your will is, to do the desires of your father. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth; for there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own; for he is a liar, and the father of it.


As it is written, There is none righteous, no not one.


For all have sinned, and are fallen short of the glory of God,


Let none deceive himself: if any one among you thinketh himself to be wise, let him become a fool in this world, that he may become wise.


For if any man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.
