Then I responded by asking him, “What are these two olive trees, on the right and on the left of the menorah?”
He said to me, “You do not know what these are?” I said, “No, my lord.”
He said to them, “You shall indeed drink My cup. But to sit on My right and left, this isn’t Mine to grant. Rather, it’s for those for whom it has been prepared by My Father.”
These are the two olive trees and the two menorot that are standing before the Lord of the earth.
