I said: “I will guard my ways, so I will not sin with my tongue. I will muzzle my mouth while the wicked are before me.”
Deliver me from all my transgressions. Do not make me the scorn of a fool.
He was oppressed and He was afflicted yet He did not open His mouth. Like a lamb led to the slaughter, like a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.
When He was abused, He did not return the abuse. While suffering, He made no threats. Instead, He kept entrusting Himself to the One who judges righteously.
