His flesh wastes away from sight, and his bones, once unseen, now stick out.


Just as many were appalled at You— His appearance was disfigured more than any man, His form more than the sons of men.


And they sat down and kept guard over Him there.


Now a great multitude of people was following Him, including women who were mourning and singing dirges for Him.


The people stood there watching. And even the leaders were sneering at Him, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Messiah of God, the Chosen One!”
