For You have created my conscience. You knit me together in my mother’s womb.
For thou hast possessed my reins: Thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
For You did form my inward parts; You did knit me together in my mother's womb.
For thou didst form my inward parts: Thou didst cover me in my mother’s womb.
You are the one who created my innermost parts; you knit me together while I was still in my mother’s womb.
I know that the Lord will accomplish justice for the needy and vindication for the poor.
I know that the Lord will do justice to the needy, and will revenge the poor.
Did not He who made me in the womb, make him? Did not the same one form us in the womb?
Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding that I may learn Your mitzvot.
From my birth I have leaned on You. You took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise is always about You.
Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before Adonai our Maker.
Thus says Adonai who made you, and formed you from the womb, who will help you: “Do not fear, Jacob My servant, Jeshurun, whom I have chosen.
“Listen to Me, house of Jacob, all the remnant of the house of Israel, borne by Me from birth, carried from the womb.
“Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, and before you were born, I set you apart— I appointed you prophet to the nations.”
