If He puts no trust in His holy ones, if even the heavens are not pure in His eyes,
He looks to the ends of the earth, and sees everything under the heavens.
Adonai is in His holy Temple. Adonai’s throne is in heaven. His eyes are watching. His eyelids observe the children of men.
For though Adonai is exalted, yet He looks upon the lowly, but the haughty He knows from afar.
From His dwelling place He gazes on all the inhabitants of the earth—
For thus says the High and Exalted One who inhabits eternity, whose Name is Holy: “I dwell in a high and holy place, yet also with a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and revive the heart of the contrite.
