Hatred stirs up strife but love covers up all transgressions.


A perverse person sows strife, and a gossip separates close friends.


A rebuke makes a greater impression on a discerning person than a hundred lashes on a fool.


Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not brag, it is not puffed up,


let him know that the one who turns a sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death and cover a multitude of sins.


Above all, keep your love for one another constant, for “love covers a multitude of sins.”
