Foolishness is bound up in the heart of a child, but a rod of discipline will drive it far from him.
A rod and reproof give wisdom, but a child left to himself disgraces his mother.
Correct your son and he will give you rest. He will bring delight to your soul.
For Adonai loves those He reproves, even as a father, the son in whom he delights.
