When some of those standing there heard it, they began saying, “This Man is calling for Elijah.”

Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calleth for Elias.

And some of the bystanders, when they heard it, said, This Man is calling for Elijah!

And some of them that stood there, when they heard it, said, This man calleth Elijah.

After hearing him, some standing there said, “He’s calling Elijah.”

Then certain ones who were standing and listening there said, "This man calls upon Elijah."

And some that stood there and heard, said: This man calleth Elias.

And if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come.

About the ninth hour Yeshua cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, My God, why have You abandoned Me?”

Right away one of them ran and took a sponge. He filled it with sour wine and put it on a stick, and was offering it to Yeshua to drink.
