Perhaps the house of Judah will hear all the calamity that I am planning to do to them, in order that they may turn, each one from his evil way. Then I would forgive their iniquity and their sin.”
I said, ‘Surely you will fear Me, you will accept correction, so her dwelling place would not be cut off— all that I appointed against her.’ But they arose early and made all their deeds corrupt.
Again the master sent other servants, even more than the first, and they did the same thing to them.

He had yet one, a well-loved son. He sent him to them last of all, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’
“Now the master of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my son, whom I love. Probably they will show him respect.’
No one has ever seen God; but the one and only God, in the Father’s embrace, has made Him known.
