Now Yeshua stood before the governor. The governor questioned Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” “You say so,” Yeshua said.
Over His head they put the charge against Him, which read: “THIS IS YESHUA, THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
And the inscription of the charge against Him was written above: “THE KING OF THE JEWS.”
Let the Messiah, the King of Israel, come down now from the stake, so we may see and believe!” Even those executed with Him were ridiculing Him.
So Pilate questioned Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” “As you say,” Yeshua replied.
They kept coming up to Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!” and slapping Him over and over.
