He gives food to the cattle and to the young ravens which cry.
“Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them shall fall to the ground apart from your Father’s consent.
Then a poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, worth less than a penny.
Consider the ravens. They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn, yet God feeds them. How much more valuable you are than birds!
Consider the lilies, how they grow. They neither toil nor spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his glory was clothed like one of these.
