“Now this is what you are to do to consecrate them, so that they may minister as kohanim. Take one young bull and two rams without blemish,


along with matzot , cakes of matzot mixed with oil, and matzot wafers spread with oil. Make them from fine wheat flour.


Offer along with the first lamb a tenth of an ephah of fine flour, mixed with a fourth of a hin of beaten oil, and a fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering.


His rock will pass away because of fear. His princes will be afraid of the banner” —it is a declaration of Adonai— His fire is in Zion, and His furnace is in Jerusalem.


The chamber that faces toward the north is for the kohanim who keep charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those from the sons of Levi who come near to Adonai to minister to Him.”


It is to be made with oil on a pan. When it is soaked, you shall bring it in. You are to present the grain offering in baked pieces as a soothing aroma to Adonai.


Then what is left from it Aaron and his sons are to eat. It is to be eaten as matzah in a holy place, in the courtyard of the Tent of Meeting.


Fire came out from the presence of Adonai, and devoured the burnt offering and the fat on the altar. When all the people saw it, they shouted and fell on their faces.
