Yet you may eat from all winged creeping things that go on all fours, which have legs above their feet, with which to hop on the earth.

Yet these may ye eat of every flying creeping thing that goeth upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap withal upon the earth;

Yet of all winged insects that go upon all fours you may eat those which have legs above their feet with which to leap on the ground.

Yet these may ye eat of all winged creeping things that go upon all fours, which have legs above their feet, wherewith to leap upon the earth;

but you can eat four-footed flying insects that have jointed legs above their feet with which they hop on the ground.

But whatever certainly walks upon four feet, and also has longer legs behind, with which it hops upon the earth,

But whatsoever walketh upon four feet, but hath the legs behind longer, wherewith it hoppeth upon the earth,

“Speak to Bnei-Yisrael, saying: These are the living things which you may eat among all the animals that are on the earth.

“All flying insects that walk on all fours are detestable to you.

You may eat from any kind of locust, any kind of katydid, any kind of cricket and any kind of grasshopper.

In it were all sorts of four-footed animals and reptiles and birds of the air.
