Then King Solomon sent Benaiah son of Jehoiada. He struck him down and he died.


Then Benaiah son of Jehoiada went up, struck him down and killed him, and he was buried in his own house in the wilderness.


And they tied Him up, led Him away, and handed Him over to Pilate, the governor.


He was assuming that his brothers understood that by his hand God was delivering them, but they did not understand.


Then 3,000 men of Judah went down to the cleft of the rock of Etam and said to Samson, “Don’t you realize that the Philistines are ruling over us? So what is this that you have done to us?” He said to them, “As they did to me, so I have done to them.”


“No, we won’t kill you,” they said to him, “but we will bind you fast and hand you over to them.” So they bound him with two new ropes and brought him up from the rock.


Then Zebah and Zalmunna said, “Rise up yourself and fall on us—for as the man is, so is his strength.” So Gideon arose and killed Zebah and Zalmunna, and took the crescent ornaments that were on their camels’ necks.
