Then the children of Ammon were summoned and camped in Gilead. Bnei-Yisrael gathered together and camped in Mizpah.
When the children of Ammon made war against Israel, the elders of Gilead went to fetch Jephthah from the land of Tob.
Jephthah then said to the elders of Gilead, “Didn’t you hate me and drive me out of my father’s house? So why are you coming to me now that you’re in trouble?”
