So the king of Israel sent word to the place the man of God told him and warned him about, and so he was on his guard there—more than once or twice.


Indeed, God speaks once, even twice, yet no one perceives it.


Even if I were right, I would not answer; I would implore the mercy of my Judge.


If anyone wished to contend with Him, he could not answer Him once in a thousand.


Do not trust in extortion, and do not put vain hope in plunder. Though these things increase riches, do not set your heart on them.


Now we know that whatever the Torah says, it says to those within the Torah, so that every mouth may be shut and the whole world may become accountable to God.
