“When the ear heard, it called me blessed, and when the eye saw me, it commended me;


I chose their way and sat as their chief; I lived as a king among the troops; I was like one who comforts mourners.


Behold, you have instructed many; you have strengthened weak hands.


Yet now it has come to you, and you are discouraged; it strikes you, and you are dismayed.


Adonai upholds all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down.


Reckless speech is like the thrusts of a sword, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.


Like apples of gold in settings of silver is a word aptly spoken.


Adonai Elohim has given Me the tongue of the learned, that I may know how to sustain the weary with a word. He awakens Me morning by morning. He awakens My ear to give heed as a disciple.


The color drained from the king’s face, his thoughts alarmed him, his hips gave way and his knees began knocking together.


So instead you should forgive him and encourage him. Otherwise such a person might be swallowed up by excessive sorrow.
