Job 4:15

dread and trembling seized me, and made my bones shake.


It stood still, but I could not recognize its appearance, A form was before my eyes and I heard a murmur, a voice:


making His angels spirits, His servants a flaming fire.


They will be terrified; pain and anguish will take hold of them; they will writhe as a woman in labor; they will look aghast at one another— their faces aflame!


He said to me, ‘Daniel, highly valued man, carefully consider the words I am speaking to you. Stand up! For now I have been sent to you.’ When he spoke this word to me, I stood up trembling.


The color drained from the king’s face, his thoughts alarmed him, his hips gave way and his knees began knocking together.


But when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were terrified, saying, “It’s a ghost!” And they cried out with fear.


Are they not all ministering spirits, sent out for service to those about to inherit salvation?


And regarding the angels He says, “He makes His angels winds, and His servants a flame of fire.”
